E & O Loss Control Webinar

This year's E&O Session will take place on January 23, 2024, from 1:30 pm - 4:30 pm

IBANB and IBANS will be hosting their annual Loss Control Webinar on January 23, 2024, from 1:30 pm - 4:30 pm.

This webinar is FREE for IBANB members taking part in our Professional Liability Program with Swiss Re.  These brokerages are encouraged to attend to receive their loss control credit and should register staff in accordance with a review of the participation guidelines and eligibility criteria

Members who are not part of the IBANB E&O program can also attend at $75/person.

Benjamin Marchand - Claims Expert - Vice President - Swiss Re Corporate Solutions

Benjamin joined Swiss Re Corporate Solutions in 2015 as a Claims Specialist handling Professional liability claims for the Canadian region. He was promoted to a Claims Expert position in 2021, handling complex E&O claims for the Broker E&O Line of Business. Before joining Swiss Re Corporate Solutions, Benjamin was employed by Royal & Sun Alliance. He has 10 years of claims handling experience including errors & omissions, general liability and property. Benjamin earned his Bachelor's Degree in Business at Laval University and completed his Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) designation from the Insurance Institute of Canada.

Evan MacKnight - Associate - Stewart McKelvey 

Evan is a litigation lawyer with Stewart McKelvey in Fredericton, New Brunswick. Evan has a wide-ranging insurance defense practice, including personal injury, property, construction, and professional liability. With a perfect record in small claims, Evan takes pride in advocating for his clients and seeing a just result. Evan earned a Bachelor’s Degree with Honours from St. Thomas University in 2015 and a Juris Doctor from the University of New Brunswick in 2019.
