Catherine Haines – As the Deputy Director of Licensing with New Brunswick’s Financial and Consumer Services Commission (FCNB), Ms. Haines oversees licensing for both the Insurance and Consumer Affairs Divisions. She works with industry members, licensees, and consumers to ensure an understanding of the requirements related to the Insurance Act, the Real Estate Agents Act, the Mortgage Brokers Act, the Direct Sellers Act, and several others. Ms. Haines has a Masters of Business Administration from the University of New Brunswick. She began working with FCNB in 2014, moving to the government after 10 years of management experience in the private sector.
Sarah Butler – Compliance Officer with New Brunswick’s Financial and Consumer Services Commission (FCNB), Ms. Butler helps oversee compliance for the Insurance Division. She works with industry, licensees, and consumers to ensure an understanding of the requirements related to the Insurance Act. Ms. Butler has a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of New Brunswick and holds her CIP Designation from the Insurance Institute of Canada. She began working with FCNB in 2018, after 17 years of working in the insurance industry.
